An attractive, aromatic, small to medium-sized shrub, 1 to 3 m in height. The compound leaves are
composed of five to seven, ovate-lanceolate leaflets. They are dark-green above, grey hairy beneath. The
violet, fragrant flowers are produced in slender racemes in September/October until frost.
