Deciduous scandent shrub. Twigs brownish-green. Leaves ovate to elliptic, slender pointed up to 15 cm long, pubescent midrip, regulary crenate, 3-7 cm wide, dark green above, paler beneath. Small whitish flowers in brown-pubescent terminal panicles in June and July. Fruit 3-winged, pale green.
