Richea dracophylla (41817 Bytes)
An erect, small and evergreen shrub with spirally arranged leaves around the stem. Leaves 20-25 cm long, crowded at the end of the stem, sharp pointed. Flowers in terminal, dense spikes, white, up to 20 cm long, appear in April. Producing large number of tiny, 5-segmented fruits, splitting when dry.
