Quercus baronii (52097 octets)
Semi-evergreen shrub to small tree up to 15 m high in its habitat. Leaves tough, ovate-oblong to lanceolate, 3-6 cm long, 1-3 cm wide. Base rounded to cuneate, apex acuminate. Lamina glabrous except the pubescent midrib beneath. Margins bristly serrate on the apical half. Acorns ovoid to ellipsoid 1.5-1.8 x 1-1.2 cm. Cupule enclosing 1/3 or more of the acorn.
