A medium-sized shrub, until to 3 m high. In summer with glossy, lightgreen leaves; in autumn coloured
yellow. The leaves are rounded or broadly ovate.The flower clusters remind one of Cornus florida.
They are subtended by 4 - 6 rounded, white bracts. The flowers are usualy produced during April and
May. The shrub likes sunny, shelterd positions with any fertil soil.
