|Magnolia grandiflora L.'Gallissoniere'|
Evergreen, medium-sized to large tree, in Europe until to 12m high. The leathery leaves
are perhaps 25cm long and 10cm wide, glossy green above and reddish-brown beneath.
The flowers are delightful fragrant, creamy-white, up to 25cm across, produced during
summer. This form seems to be hardier than the species and has more intensive brown
colour at the leaves.
