|Lonicera x purpusii Rehd.|
A semi-evergreen, erect shrub up to 3 m high, with glabrous twigs. Leaves glabrous, elliptic, 5-10 cm long. Downy veins at the underside of the leaf. Creamy-white, strong fragrant flowers appear between December and April. Flowers 2-4 cm long in axillary fascicles. Fruits red.
