An evergreen dwarf shrub, until to 30 cm high, with rounded, compact habit. Leaves opposite or alternate, box-like. Producing in May and June clusters of small, white flowers, which are pink in bud. Fruits ovate, 3 mm long. Needs soil like Rhododendron. This attractive dwarf shrub is hardy.
