A graft hybrid (chimaera) between Laburnum anagyroides and
Cytisus purpureus with Laburnum forming habit. Some branches bear the yellow flowers of
the Laburnum, while other branches bear dense, congested clusters of the purple-flowered
Cytisus. Lot of branches produce intermediate flowers of striking coppery-pink. Orginated from the nursery of M. Adam near Paris 1825.
