Exochorda serratifolia (30733 octets)
Deciduous small shrub to 2 m high. Leaves alternate, elliptic, light green, glabrous, 3-10 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide, serrate on the upper half. Base cuneate and often uneven. Petiole about 1.5 cm long. Inflorescence in terminal raceme in April. White flowers nearly sessile, about 3 cm across with 5 obovate, rounded to emarginate petals. 25 or more stamens. Hardy.
