A small to medium-sized, exotic-looking tree with lanceolate leaves, 3-7 cm long, emerald-green. The leaves are marked with 2 white bands of stomata beneath. Often they become dark and bronzy in autumn. Sometimes some parts of the tree become brown. Only for mild and sheltered positions.
