|Cotoneaster ludlowii Klotz|
Evergreen or semi-evergreen small shrub up to 2 m high. Twigs erected, gray. Leaves elliptic, 1.5-4 cm long, 0.7-2 cm wide, glabrous, dark and dull green above, whitish and tomentose beneath. Apex obtuse to short acuminate. Inflorescence in May, in erect wolly clusters with 5-12 white flowers. Conspicuous subglobose fruits, bright red, about 7-9 mm long, with one seed inside. Quite hardy.
