Cotoneaster hylmoei (41174 octets)
Evergreen shrub 2-4 m high. Leaves tough, elliptic-oblong, 4-8 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, dark green and rugose above, white wooly tomentose beneath. Apex acute to acuminate. Inflorescences in dense wooly corymbs 3-7 cm across. White flowers in June to July. Fruit globose, bright red, 5-8 mm across with 2-3 seeds. Hardy.
