It seems to be a natural hybrid of C.creticus and C. ladanifer. It´s a small, evergreen shrub with long-ovate leaves and large (until 8 cm across) flowers. The flowers are rosy-crimson with chocolate basal blotches. It´s flowering in June/July. This shrub needs full sun and well drained soil, but is only usable in mild climates and sheltered positions.
