Big shrub or tree, until to 10 m high; leaves small-elliptic to ovate, glossy-green, in autumn yellow. The flowers are produced during May to June in 10-20 cm long, hanging panicles.The shrub has in this time an abundance of a little fragrant, white flowers. The shrub is quite hardy and easy to cultivate in the sun.
