|Chamaecyparis formosensis Matsum.|
A slow-growing, medium-sized tree of loose conical or bushy habit. In Central Europe only a shrub. Leaves dull green, coloured bronze in autumn. The small ( 1cm long, 0.8cm wide), ellipsoid cones are built already on young plants. The branches often are swollen at their junction with the main stem. Very tender in youth. Only for mild, sheltered conditions.
