A tree, until to 11 m in height. The leaves
are usually three-lobed. In the corners of the nervs on the bottom side
there are small red hairs. The flowers are produced in narrowly pyramidal,
10-25 cm long panicles in July. The flowers are small, cream-white with
purple and yellow markings.
