An unusual hybrid between B. davidii and B.globosa.
It is a well growing, summergreen shrub. The flowers are produced on ball-
shaped heads in long slender panicles on the young wood from July to the
first frost. Their color is orange-yellow, often mauve tinged. For mild
climates, not so frostresistant as B.davidii-hybrids.
