A small, semi-evergreen shrub, until 1.5 m
high.Leaves ovate, glossy green,1.5 to 3 cm long. In autumn some coloured
red. The flowers are produced from July to September. The flowers are lavender
or pale pink, 2 cm across. It´s a hybrid of Abelia x grandiflora
and Abelia schumannii.
