Sophora davidii (48394 octets)
Small spiny deciduous shrub up to 2.5 m high. Leaves pinnate, 4-10 cm long, 1.5-3.5 cm wide, 11-19 leaflets, ovate, mucronate, light green at first, darker after; pubescent beneath. Flowers up to 2 cm long, in terminal racemes in May-June. Petals bluish-white. Calyx violet. Pod, long-beaked, with 1 to 4 seeds, narrowed between them. Quite hardy.
