Smilax excelsa (41786 octets)
Tall evergreen (to deciduous in colder areas) climber up to 15-20 m high. Leaves, entire, tough, ovate, 4-11 cm long, 3-10 cm wide, shining green. Lamina wawy, base heart-shaped to truncate, apex pointed. Flowers greenish-yellow, in axillary umbels. Conspicuous globose red beries, about 1 cm across.
