Shepherdia argentea (36406 octets)
Small deciduous, dioecious thorny shrub. Leaves opposite, stalked, oblong, 2-6.5 cm long, 0.6-2 cm wide. Lamina silvery on both sides with a rounded apex. Small yellow flowers about 5-6 mm across in small dense clusters in March. Fruit ovoid, red. Quite hardy, good for poor and sandy soil.
