Rhamnus lycioides (77803 octets)
Evergreen or deciduous small spiny and bushy shrub about 1 m high. Old branches grey. Leaves linear to obovate, glabrous, light green, 0.5-3.5 cm long, 3-10 mm wide, entire. Apex obtuse to mucronate. Small inconspicuous yellowish flowers in clusters in winter. Fruit obovoid, 4-6 mm, yellowish to black when ripe. Hardy, grows well in poor and rocky soil.
