Mucuna sempervirens (38815 octets)
Evergreen woody climber. Leaves trifoliate, lustrous, tough, light green when young, darker after, glabrous when mature. Leaflet petioled, entire, ovate, elliptic or oblong, acuminate, lateral ones asymetric, 8-15 cm long, 4-7 cm wide. Flowers dark purple, waxy, foetid, keel 6-8 cm long, in raceme on the old leafless wood in May. Pod 40 cm long with 7 seeds.
