Deciduous shrub. Twigs light brown. Leaves alternate, oblong to oblanceolate, 3-14 cm long, 1.5-3.5 cm wide, dull green and glabrous above, paler and slightly pubescent along nerves beneath. Apex acute to obtuse, base cuneate. Inflorescences in axillary umbels. Fruit red. Hardy.
