 The Bavarian State Collection of Zoology had inherited to build up the node "Evertebrata II" within GBIF Germany. Tasks and organisation structure are shown under the marked hyperlinks. Beside the colleagues of the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology, collaborators from the  museums of Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Cismar are participating. Another important partner is the SysTax-project, which provides the portal to show the data on the internet.

The following sub-projects within the node "Evertebrata II" are located at the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology:

MoTyMunHaCis: Mollucan types (Zoologische Staatssammlung München, Zoologisches Institut und Zoologisches Museum Hamburg, Haus der Natur Cismar) with about 1.100 collection objects, 870 taxa, 600 media files and 77 references present for Internet queries in the SysTax database.

GloMyrIS: Global Myriapod Information System with about 6.000 collection objects 20.000 taxa, 2.000 media files, 2.300 references, 3.500 literature scans and 21.000 connections between literature and taxa present for Internet queries in the SysTax database.

TyMunAc: Acari-types of the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology with about 2000 collection objects, 8.000 taxa, 1.200 media files and 221 references present for Internet queries in the SysTax database.

GBIF Webseite zieht um

Heute wurde die Portierung der GBIF Deutschlande Website von Zope nach Drupal abgeschlossen. In diesem Zuge wurde der bestehende Inhalt in das CMS Drupal 6.1 unter Beibehaltung der bislang gültigen URLs überführt.
